My Story

Originating in Zimbabwe, it has been my privilege to qualify with Sarah Jane Holt of Devon School of Reflexology (https://devonreflexology.com/tutor-profile/) as a Reflexologist in 2015. In 2016 I qualified in Clinical Aromatherapy with Gail Lowe of Devon Academy (https://www.accreditedmassagetraining.co.uk/about-devon-academy/) which served to broadened by skill base. This was complemented by CPD courses, the most useful being the ability to practice Reflexology Lymph Drainage under Sally Kay (https://www.reflexologylymphdrainage.co.uk/sally-kay.html). I am trained in Indian Head massage and Deep Tissue Massage Therapy.
My interest in pain relief as well as end of life care, have led me to learn and practice Myofascial Release with School of Bodywork under the tutelage of Emma Gilmore (https://www.schoolofbodywork.com/tutors/), which has also been a privilege.
I have a small private practice in my home in Cullompton and undertake voluntary work at least once a week with Hospiscare, Force and with the Oasis group and Devon Carers who support carers of people with dementia.
My home is also an airbnb and I do offer treatments at present, but hope to expand my practice to do pamper weekends working with other colleagues.
I plan to always strive to learn new techniques, while utilising all of my current skills to help relieve pain, discomfort as well as suffering, not only in people dealing with end of life but those with chronic illness and busy working lives.
It is my deepest conviction that complementary therapy makes a subtle but vital difference to our sense of well-being and to the smooth running of our lives. In a understated and indefinable way, taking care of yourself will reap great rewards. By attending to keeping your inner systems working smoothly through the employment of complementary therapies, you will be rewarded with positive benefits to your everyday life.
